Barkada Cabin is simply … stunning! From the moment you walk into the soaring great room with the giant windows looking out at the Blue Ridge mountains you know you’re in someplace special. This cabin has everything you could ever want in a mountain vacation rental — and I mean everything. All weekend we kept saying, “And they even thought of (fill in the blank).” And it’s just 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, so the location is also perfect. I could go on and on about all the cool features of Barkada but suffice it to say: This is the perfect mountain vacation rental. Look no further.

A DREAM CABIN
Tom and Juvi’s cabin is like a dream. We wanted a place to relax and spend time with our four college aged kids, and this cabin offered us so many creative spaces to make memories. The hot tub overlooked the mountains- where we watched unbelievable sunsets. The kitchen was amazing. It was spacious, well equipped and we spent time cooking- we had no desire to leave to eat out. The beds were beyond comfortable and the showers were Amazing! There were walking trails and lakes to fish close by to the cabin. Every corner has thoughtful attention to detail- from the throw blankets by the fire places, numerous board games and an arcade. The house was super clean and private and our hosts were super responsive and friendly. You and your family will be so happy and pleased at the Barkada Cabin

STELLAR!
Stellar! This cabin was amazing! The view, the hot tub next to the outdoor fireplace on the main level with that view, cleanliness, location, extremely welcoming and proactive and responsive hosts, extremely comfortable beds and living room and theatre room furniture, little thoughtful touches throughout (loved the signage everywhere), that master bath, even the showers were the best showers – I’m not sure if it was the shampoo or the water, but I took an extra shower before I left because my hair is never that soft! I could go on and on. We just had a very relaxing stay and a lot of fun with pac-man! It was hard to leave that cabin and not want to stay “home” to see that view all day from sunrise to sunset (both of which you can see from the cabin.) Amazing! If staying at a cabin is what you’re wanting, this is definitely the place to do it. Thank you Tom and Juvi for opening up your home to our family and giving this teacher and my family some much needed quality time off!

EXCEPTIONAL VIEW & FURNISHING
The cabin exceeded our expectations! The view and furnishings are just exceptional. We had everything we needed for a relaxing mountain getaway with the convenience of being 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. To top it off, Tom and Juvi were very responsive, accommodating and friendly. We definitely hope to be back!

PRIVATE & PICTURESQUE SCENERY ALL DAY LONG
Bärkada Cabin is a wonderful family getaway. Nestled on the side of mountain, Barkada provides privacy and picturesque scenery all day long- whether inside or lounging outdoors. Tom and Juvi created a gorgeous modern cabin paying attention to details. Each room in the cabin felt like home with ample amenities and plenty of room for a big family. We will definitely revisit Barkada to make more family memories.

FIVE STAR HOSTS
Barkada Cabin is a must visit in the Blue Ridge/Northern Georgia area. This cabin was built with every guest in mind….from the views, to the room layouts, the well stocked kitchen and the incredible owners who make the process so welcoming and easy. My family and I stayed here for Thanksgiving while visiting my parents. We had no shortage of fun…the house was stocked with so many family friendly games and Tom and Juvi had a whole list of recommendation around the area. Very rare do you find a cabin with a executive stocked kitchen complete with EVERY item you could possibly need. We cooked an entire Thanksgiving feast and not once did we not have the right item to use in prep or when dining. To take it a step further, Tom even got us a roasting pan for Turkey as he knew we would need it. FIVE STAR HOST! We plan to visit this magical place many more times and recommend you give it a try as you can expect the same experience we had.

HIGH END ACCOMODATIONS!
We have used VRBO a lot in the past several years and this is, by far, the very best VRBO we have had. Very communicative owners, extremely clean, nicely appointed and within a stone’s through of everything you might need. A very high-end accommodation and will stay there again~!
